Mark Day, a native of Athy, Co. Kildare, is the founder and lead business plan writer at Irish Business Plans.

He is an experienced business professional with a strong background in entrepreneurship and business development.

 

Having completed a first-class honours degree in Business, Finance and Marketing at Cork Institute of Technology, he went on to establish his first business at the age of 24 in medical distribution. The company was a success which resulted in it being acquired by investors in 2007.

He has since been involved in several successful enterprises and is a shareholder in two SMEs.

Mark focuses his energy on businesses that require expert help with business plan structure, financial modelling and content preparation.

 

His goal at Irish Business Plans is to help entrepreneurs to put their best possible case forward for funding with professionally prepared business plans, proposals and financial forecasts.

 

He has direct experience of working with the Irish Banking System, Enterprise Boards, Microfinance Ireland and L.E.O institutions, Leader County Development Partnerships, Enterprise Ireland and private investors.

He is dedicated to staying at the cutting edge of business development and has completed additional post graduate certificate studies in Public Relations, Online Marketing, Google Adwords and Business Communications.

Padraig Muldoon is a Business Writer and Marketing Consultant at Irish Business Plans. Originally from Athlone, Co. Westmeath,

 

Prior to joining IBP, he was employed as a tax specialist in PwC’s Dublin office. During this time, he worked with a wide array of clients and business types, ranging from Irish SMEs to multinational PLCs to semi-state bodies.

 

These clients operated within a variety of sectors, including technology, retail, transport, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing and communications.

 

Padraig is an alum of Maynooth University, graduating with a first-class honours degree in Business and Law.

 

Since then, he has also completed programmes on business start-ups, digital marketing, and web design.

 

In his free time, Padraig is an active blogger. As a volunteer editor with the extremely popular wiwibloggs website, he produces both written and video content relating to the Eurovision Song Contest. For his troubles, he has appeared as a guest contributor on RTÉ Radio One’s Morning Ireland and RTÉ television’s main evening news.

 

At Irish Business Plans, Padraig marries his skills and experience to produce business plans that are rich in content and prepared to the highest standards.

Amanda is the office administrator at Irish Business Plans. Hailing from County Laois, she is responsible for ensuring that the customer service, office and administrative functions at IBP run smoothly and efficiently.

She has extensive experience with all office management tasks including project bookings, workflow scheduling, customer service and financial controls. Amanda is also responsible for organising meetings, project fulfilment, and ensuring clients’ needs are met on time.

 

Amanda looks after the I.T side of the business, assisting with the website, social media and content creation.

 

She graduated from Carlow Institute of Technology in 2013 and has accumulated administrative experience in a variety of sectors including retail, manufacturing and hospitality.

 

She has been an integral part of the business since 2016.

In addition to her role with Irish Business Plans, Amanda is an active advocate of Water Safety and can be found delivering courses around the swimming pools of counties Kildare, Carlow and Laois.
